Devil Beside You...

阿猛：我有预感。。。我会一辈子只喜欢你。。。

Bleh...just finished watching the idol drama 恶魔在身边 on SCV. Not bad show. At first I wasn't really interested (I'm not a fan of idol drama...unless the cast consists of people I like), but Waicheng kept "psycho-ing" me to watch.

Didn't follow it from beginning to end, but happened to catch 1 episode on SCV. Erm, like not bad so I started watching (since I have nothing much to do anyway). Funny, exagerrated and some parts are quite sweet. And of course Raine Yang is always nice to have. Notice some cliche about idol drama (and love films in generally):

- When a girl runs away or went missing, her BF (or the guy that like her) will always be the one that will locate her even though there's like 10 other people going on a mass search. (Same for guy went missing). How come so "zhun"? How come it can't be other people?

- When there's like a touching scene where the couple hug each other......it is almost guaranteed to rain.

- The "just in time" crap. Like the guy manage to made the girl stayed just 5 minutes before she's going to leave the country. Or in one huge city area the guy will manage to find the girl just before she gets rape... -_- And manage to get back to a competition "just in time" to take over and win the game. (All done in 20 minutes...superman?)

Overall good show but then...felt that the plot is a bit too illogical at some points. Like why the hell would someone leave all your close friends, family, etc...that you've been living together with say for 18 years, to go overseas and live with someone you barely know?

Anyway...see the quote above? That's the quote the male lead (阿猛) told the female lead (齐悦) before he left the country in the final episode...basically telling her to wait for his return. The original ending to the show is he returned 1 year later and they got together again. Live happily ever after...Yawn...
