My most anticipated games of 2006!

I've been offerred a place in NUS! Have got until June to consider. I'm going to have a big headache.

Anyway, here are some of my most anticipated games!

Heroes Of Might And Magic V - Will Ubisoft bring this series to its peak or bring it to its doom?
Rise & Fall - One great innovation. First Person fighting in an RTS? Sounds cool!
Rise Of Legends - Rise of Nations was one of the best RTS I've played. Will this game top it?
Suikoden V - Yes. My top 3 RPG series of all time is back once again. Definitely a must play!
FF XII - Final Fantasy 12. It sold 3.5 million copies in Japan in 4 days of launch...wow!
Civilization 4 : Warlords - Undoubtly one of the greatest series of all time. Must buy!
Black & White 2: Battle Of The Gods - Expansion to one of Peter Molyneux greatest game.
The Movies: Sound & Effects - I hope they got a bundle so I can buy both at one go!

That's all for now!

Holiday plans...

Been a while since I've update! So what have I done during these 4 weeks of my holiday life?

Besides lots of warcrafting, I've brought Civilization 4. Indeed. It's one of the greatest game of Year 2005, and definitely worthy of the numerous "Game of the Year" awards. Sid Meiers rocks! He's the 3rd game designer I respect after Will Wright and Peter Molyneux. I think all of them are geniuses! They dare to innovate and try new things no one every try before. The game industry is really too stagnant now! They need to create new type of games instead of playing the "safe" way.

Anyway, I've been working hard on expanding my portfolio in addition to playing games. In fact I'm working on 2 significant projects, 1 in Java and 1 in C++. Hopefully I can complete the Java one in another month time. (Been working on it for 2 weeks)

However, It's extremely challenging as it's the first time I've attempted Networking in Java. I'll try my best! The C++ one is of a MUCH bigger in scale and difficulty (Mainly due the the infamilarity with C++ Language). I reckon we'll slowly improved it over the next 2 years.

So that's basically it! Remember to check out my portfolio site at http://zhenzhao.superihost.com. Till then!

Sentosa Trip + Consolidating Info...

Went to yesterday Sentosa with my classmates! Lots of them! We met at Mcdonald (although very late...John was a bit pissed...haha) to have lunch before heading over.

Basically we did the same things. Lame jokes + soccer. That place changed a lot since I last been there. (Siloso Beach) Lots of renovation. Highlight of the day goes to burying Xuan Jie...no, not alive. We placed some "explciit" sand patterns on him after burying him.

Today I went to school to settle some matters with Leon. I think he's an excellent lecturer. Gave me some aspirations and I'm very sorry to have to trouble him with so many matters. Thanks Mr Leon!

Farewell, Intern-mates!

3th March

Return to "Mt E-Mei" for probably the last time in history to meet my LO and intern-mates! Have a brief talk about our results and Mr Leon said we all did pretty well and no one got below B! Woot!

After the "final farewell" to ICT and all the interns, I walked back to the station with Toby...(Who happened to be there)

He told me about some $40 bucks worth of food at some restaurant they went to yesterday...Haha. Lucky i didn't go...burn a hole in my pocket. Anyway, I brought a new RAM and a new Sony headphone! Hohoho!

Post internship period now! Which means...slack! Slack and more slack!

The end of the Internship...

2th March

Yes...the 4 months of hell (Okay...not really lah...It's a great environment with great people, just not the work I wanted to do) has finally come to an end!!! (On 2th March)

The last day of Internship, we went around taking photos with almost all the stuff members! (We took almost an entire hour) Hong Hui was particuarly enthuastic and wanted to take photos with every single guy on the floor, even those on the 3rd floor! Hahaha. It was hilarious when instead of inviting all the staff at once, we invite them one by one. Then goes the cycle of, "Department", "Group", "Department", "Group"......Poor Wilky... :P

Can't tell you how "high" we were when we left the office that day. The air of freedom!!! Even though we're finally free, I also have some feelings for the place...My seat especially. For 4 long months (Actual fact like 3), I've been on this same routine. Come in the office from the left side, tap and "beep"...you know. The same exact routine. When I left that day I really said goodbye to my work area..."goodbye forever!"
