S.H.E - Is The One Review

Opening

First song - Superstar.

No problem with that, although I think there are better choices.

But it is awesome and fufills it role as an opener.

...

And then they followed it up with... "Boom".

They had an awesome opening and got everyone into the mood, and then totally "low diao" the whole thing with the 2nd song.

Seriously, I don't even know how to sing what "Boom".

It's one of their worst songs. It is not one of the "zhu da" either, so I have no idea why they want to connect it with that.

Aka, they wasted Superstar. They should have leave it for the encore.

The Bad

Ahh... they sang a lot of new songs. I know it's partly my problem, cause I'm not really familiar with them.

Worst, they sacrifice lot of good songs in order to sing the crappy new songs.

And for the good songs they did perform, most of them were "compressed".

Tian Hui, Re Dai Yu Lin, etc... all join together to become some sort of medley.

And then they sing stuff like 612 Xing Qiu, Tian Liang Le & London Bridge in full. -.-

They also have bad remix of Remember and Chu Dian.

...

:(

The Good

Everything else is great!

And this KTV segment below is frigging awesome!

This entire segment, plus the Zhong Jie Gu Dan (to spite Mayday nextdoor) and San Tian San Ye (!!!) after is the best part of this concert.

Encore

No SHERO :(

Disappointment!!!

Overall

I think they've forgo many good old classics in order to slot in newer titles for this one.

Basically, I think the breakdown of concert time is about like this:

20%: Songs from 10th and 11th Album
20%: Songs from other artistes. <--- Very Well Done
10%: Talking, video clips and stuffs.
50%: Songs from 1st to 9th Album.

Anyway~~~

Think it's not as good as Moving Castle, mostly because I am not that "attached" to the new songs.

That's all~
