Today, I sat for my first major examination paper in 3 years...

And I am deeply traumatized.
I CANNOT recall any other paper I've taken at any point in my life that is ANYWHERE close to the difficulty of this one.
For normal exam papers, I'll probably ask myself, "How well did I do?"
For the more difficult ones, I'll ask, "I wonder if I can pass..."
And this?!
This ONE!
THIS!!!
I ask myself, "How badly will I fail?"
When I first received the paper, all I could do was to "skip, skip and skip". When I finally find one I am confident of doing, It turned out to be much harder than I thought!
And It doesn't help when you see the time keeps ticking away... and half of the paper is still untouched.
When I "completed" the paper, I look around and all I see are people shaking their heads. As I walked out of the exam hall, all I can hear are people complaining how tough the paper is. Nearly everyone I know claimed they couldn't do the paper.
And so I was surfing around the Hardware Zone student forums... and even there I see threads and posts complaining about this deadly paper...

All I can say is, I already did my BEST. I knew I wasn't very good in Maths.
So I turned away all invitations (A.L.L, ALL) and spent days and days coping myself at home, doing MATHS, MATHS AND MORE MATHS.
Not say I never practice. Past year paper (and I mean the whole stack) do also do liao. Tutorial questions + Drill questions do until almost can memorize the question liao...

AND WHAT?!
WHAT GOOD DID IT DO?
...
...
NOTHING!!!
The questions that came out are OUT OF THE WORLD.
Where are the type of questions that I SPENT DAYS AND DAYS PRACTICING?!
Where is my BAYES THEOREM?!
It came out EVERY SINGLE YEAR and It didn't came out this year.
Where is the DAMN HOSPITAL RULE?
BARELY appeared.
Where is my FAVOURITE BINOMIAL DISTRIBUTION?
Not even a single question on it.
NOPE.
NOTHING.
Instead, what you get are NEVER SEEN BEFORE questions that are totally out of your league. The past year paper questions seems like PEANUTS compared to the questions in this paper.

You would expect there to be some "give-away" questions.
But NO.
Every SINGLE QUESTION is OUT FOR YOUR LIFE.

Even the simplest statistic question requires you to spent a ridiculous amount of time to work out the solution. That is bullshit, considering you only have 2 hours. (and if you calculate it, you got like 5 minutes for a single question)
And I thought the ball question would be easy. But no, it is a "different kind of ball"... that makes you catch no ball...
