I spent HOURS AND HOURS trying to figure how, WHY IT CANNOT DETECT THE FILE, what did I do wrongly with the configuration.

When in reality, this error occurs as a result of something as simple as a SYNTAX error in the code.

WHAT THE ****!

This is UNFORGIVABLE. THIS IS MADNESS. THIS IS BLASPHEMY!

Seriously.

If it's a syntax error, then ****ING TELL ME it's Syntax Error.

NOT TELL ME THAT I HAVE TO "CONTACT THE SERVER ADMINSTRATOR" due to some "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR".

很多人大概不知道，这首歌原来是一首合唱的老歌，阿信是后来翻唱并一人同时“饰演”两个角色而备受瞩目。

其实我更喜欢这个原版的。 （比阿信的鬼叫好听的多）

这是一首很有想象空间的歌。。。看个人怎么解读，并没有一个很具体的故事。

注意女生唱的部分，有些是“年轻的女子”的嗓音，有些是“老的妇人”的唱腔，这对理解整个故事是很重要的。。。

（例如：开始的那段京剧是“年轻的女孩”，后面"我已等待了千年，为何良人不回来" 是老妇人的声音。）

我所理解的大概的内容是这样。。。

很久以前有一对很恩爱的年轻夫妇，男的是“北方的狼族”，被充军去打仗了。

妻子一等就等了他一辈子。。。从年轻等到老了，从老等到自己死了，她的灵魂依然还在等。。。

其实她的丈夫回来过了。。。只是他进不了城门。 为什么呢？

因为北京是一个很庄严，有“龙气”之类的地方，鬼魂是进不去的。

就好像我们贴“门神”来挡妖魔鬼怪一样，更何况是北京那么“神圣”的地方。。。

我只能说，罗大佑不只是“百万大歌星”里面的大魔王，也是这个课程的大魔王。。。

刚好现在过年，可是说是 “一年过了又是新的一年，每一年都曾经是新的一年”。。。



第二首《梯田》。。。非常恶心的歌。难道没有更好的歌选？

其实听过讲解后，觉得词真的是写得很不错。

不过。。。

第一，曲真的很难听。

第二，这是一首我连看着歌词都搞不懂他在唱什么咚咚的歌。。。所以基本上它的词虽然好，可是却完全没有意义的。

对我来说根本就是模模糊糊，叽叽歪歪。。。如果不是因为上课的关系，我根本不会去查这首歌在讲什么。。。

第三课，第一首是刘家昌叔叔的《我家在那里》。。。 说真的，这首歌真的不是很好听。。。可能跟年代有关系吧。

不过我并不觉得前几堂教过的老歌难听，只有这首让我觉得真的是很“老”。。。是到目前为止我觉得最难听的。。。

歌词咧。。。我实在是没有什么共鸣。

有代沟吧。完全没有感情。



第二首是同样年代的《橄榄树》，不过相比之下就好很多。。。

可能是我从小就知道这首歌吧（因为妈妈常会听老歌的关系）。。。

不过我是到现在才真正知道这首歌的背景故事。。。

大概是在讲作者三毛一生的悲剧故事。。。

在网上找到课堂上没提到的。。。

“她到过很多国家，有个深爱她的西班牙丈夫荷西, 而荷西的老家父母拥有大片的橄欖田。到后来因为意外，他过世只剩下三毛一个... 她在书裡写到过常梦到丈夫来看她..."

原来是鬼故事？！。。。

应该不是吧。。。还是根梁老师教的比较安全一点。。。

其实这首歌是关于为了自己的理想不断追寻的故事。。。

我们每个人心中所追求的一个目标。。。为了那个目标去流浪。。。

因此每个人唱出来的橄欖树感觉都不一样，我也在追寻我心中的橄欖树。。。

这次主题是《年轻人的青春话语》。

第一首是台湾70年代的校园民歌，《年轻人的心声》。请问简单的一句“我又轻拨黯哑的老吉他”会有什么深层的意义？不就只是形容一个人在弹吉他？

他居然可以单这句就跟我讲十分多钟。。。“我”，“又”，“黯哑”，“老吉他”。。。每一个小细节都有比表面更深的一层意义，的隐喻。。。真的。。。

第二首是新加坡人都应该蛮熟悉的《我们这一班》~


梁文福：“曲和词就好像是一首歌的父母，只有在他们的结合下才会有歌的诞生，缺了一样就不完整了，就不是一首歌了。"

很同意。

对我来说，曲比较像是一首歌个的“肉体”，的外观或外刑。而词呢，就是一首歌的内在和灵魂。

这是一则以前在网络上找，分析人们寻找伴侣的文章。

对我而言，听歌也差不多一样吧。

你要让我认真仔细的去听，去体会一首歌的词之前。。。

你的曲基本上一定要先“过关”。

如果我根本对歌的旋律完全没有feel，甚至觉得很难听，很烦的话，那我几乎不可能会喜欢上这首歌。因为我根本就不会想要再听到它，更不可能认真听他的词。（除非上课被逼）

只要曲吸引住了你，词就变得很重要了。

词就是这首歌的故事和灵魂。如果词很烂，那么不管曲多好听，这首歌也不可能得到我的“五颗星”。

总结就是： 曲是基本要素，不好听肯定是FAIL。 不过再好的曲最多也只能带你到B+吧。。。只有配上好的词才能真正算是顶级的好歌。

当然歌手的“唱”也很重要啦，不过在这里不列入考量。



最后分享一首老师写的歌。。。 看着歌词听一首歌跟单靠耳朵听真的“差很大”。。。觉得这首歌还蛮感人的。

最喜欢那句 “你说分手好吗，我说好吧，沉默那么痛啊。”

当然是把最好的放在最后一个咯。。。

以后就用华语来写这科的回录， 顺便练习一下再用华语来“写作”的感觉。。。



早在第一学期的时候就想要选读这课程了，只不过一直没有机会。。。这次终于拿到罗，而且还有好友相伴，真的很开心~ 不然自己一个真的会很闷。

其实咧，还是会担心自己的华语不懂已经“退化”到多么“加辣"， 因为毕竟也已经有六七年没有”亲手”写任何的华语“作文"了。。。

现在都是用电脑汉语拼音，真的很少（根本没有）自己再用笔动手写华文字。。。所以上这个课的时候，作笔记还是多多少少会有障碍。

因为他有时讲得还蛮快的，有些字一时三刻也想不起来怎么写，所以只好用英文代替。不过咧。。。我是尽可能用华文来做笔记啦。

第一堂课。。。

第一首歌是邓丽君小姐在７０年代的〈〈在水一方〉〉，之前是从来没听过，听后感觉还不错。后来上网搜索发现飞轮海竟然在２００７年有翻唱这首歌。真的是蛮惊讶的，不过摇滚版的感觉还不错，比较适合这一代的风格吧。老歌毕竟还是老歌。

这首歌是描述一个痴心的男子追逐着他心仪的女生的故事。他很想能够抓住她，追上她，能够和她在一起；无奈天意弄人，有太多的障碍，太多的艰难。。。他可能就这样，一生也将得不到她。　但是，多么漫长的日子过去了，他还是没有放弃，还是一样默默的守护着他心爱的女生。。。

很不错吧。。。

其实我不是很明白为什么这首歌是由邓丽君来唱。。。照歌词来看，应该是由男生来演绎比较适合吧。。。

第二首是还蛮经典的〈〈水调歌头〉〉，也就是大家应该都还蛮熟悉的〈〈但愿人长久〉〉。这首在中学的华文课就有学过。。。

这是苏东坡被贬官后，被调到遥远的地方时，因为思念弟弟而写下的词。

没有什么好说的。。。　只能说古代的诗人实在是太强了。。。

“人有悲欢离合，　月有阴晴圆缺，　此事古难全，　但愿人长久，　千里共婵娟”

自古以来，人生总是有许多的不完美，不如意。但是就算与亲人相隔“千里之外”，还是可以共赏天上的明月。。。

You know... I don't think I've seen the night scenery of the school until this semester.

In fact, staying till 8 and 9pm is almost becoming a daily routine since recess.

I just realized how slack I was the last 2 sems.

Back then, I almost never need to do any school work during the weekdays.

I just finish up everything during the weekend.

Now... weekday + weekend also not enough...

I have NEVER missed this much lectures and classes, EVER.

In fact, I've been missing more lectures than the ones I've attending since recess.

Compared this to the first year, when I wouldn't even allow myself to skip ONE LECTURE.

They show you a drawing of a crime scene "how the blood splatter" and expect you to make deduction on what happen.

Did the attacker hit the victim when she's standing up or lying down?

How do you associate the weapon with the crime scene?

Gosh... everything is "falling out of place" now.

It seems that the modules difficulty sky-rocketed overnight...

Tutorials have NEVER been this disgusting.

Every single one of them is a HUGE PAIN to do.

You expect to find the answers to this kind of content base module simply by copying from the lecture notes.

But no; you need to go hunt all over the place for it.

The question only ask you the answer to "8 multiply 9?"

Is it really necessary to reiterate the whole numerical system, talk about real numbers and rational numbers, go through the entire multiplication table and all the mathematical operators?

Is it necessary to do that to make us understand how to do "8 x 9"?

Can we just get straight to the point?

Doing this tutorial is just REALLY REALLY tiring.

The questions are so twisted and "tangled" it makes you SICK.

It's like "queries nested in queries nested in queries".

Makes me wanna tear our my hair.

Look at this:

"Find supplier numbers for suppliers supplying at least 1 part supplied by at least 1 supplier who supplies at least one red part."

WTF?! I don't even understand what it wants. Is this a query or some tongue twister?

But at least I'll be a little bit more enlightened after the class.

The tutor explained that "It's normal that you don't understand. It is the same every semester."

Forensic Science

I just attended the most graphic/gory lecture I ever seen in my life...

They invited a pathologist from the Singapore Health Sciences Authority to give us a special talk on forensic science. He's like a coroner, and perform autopsies and stuff...

Really... gosh...

Just horrible... got like what photos of kid made to kneel on stoves by parents, bodies digged up after buried for days, photos of body parts, torn apart faces, bloated intestines, burnt humans and bloody lumps of internal organs, maggots and decomposed bodies and all that...

OMG... I can't believed I just typed all of that out.

It's totally different from seeing these kind of images in horrific movies. Cause this one is the REAL THING. REAL HUMAN BEINGS being dismembered and eviscerated.

It's not some CGI or tomato sauce or cosmetics.

...

ZZZ... Suddenly feel that life is so vulnerable...

After the class, it felt that I've just finished 1 hour of hardcore lecture.

Wow... he looks really "different" during the tutorial, as in different from what I remembered during the lectures.

Haha.

Maybe seeing someone "close-up" really makes a difference.

Anyway... this subject is tougher than I expected... OMG... I think I need like HOURS just to complete Tutorial 2.

It's A LOT of "tedious thinking".

I have no idea why we have to learn Relational Algebra.

Isn't learning the QUERY itself good enough?! Why do I have to learn something which has HORRENDOUS syntax and rules?

It will all eventually be converted to SQL queries anyway...

So dumb.

It's like after you know how to use Windows XP, they forced you to go back and use MS-DOS. (Not the perfect example but you get the idea)

Forensic Science

Hmm... only interesting thing this week is the lecture on "Blood".

By seeing the blood pattern and the angle, you can re-construct what happen during a violent attack.

Other then that, it's a lot of boring Chemistry stuffs.
