My First Escape Room Experience

Went out with my "nieces and nephews" for the first time today, haha!

Quite surprised they actually invite me along, though I must say that I feel a little old among them.

Had lots of fun and the main event got to be the impromptu Escape Room activity. We just happen to walk pass 1 of them in Cathay and randomly decide to participate in it due to its 50% promotion. Haha. Life is good when you're young.

It's my first escape room experience and definitely quite refreshing. We opted for the "non-horror" option - a Ninja theme where we have to escape using clues related to 5 elements, some bagua diagrams and stuff.

We cleared the first room pretty fast but got stuck repeatedly in the second room. Some lessons:

1) Always search the room thoroughly & repeatedly, even in places you wouldn't think about. You know, like places you've 'been to' before. Here, we overlooked a piece of evidence behind the door we came in from.

2) Don't be too hasty to progress (欲速则不达). Make sure to observe/listen to the clue carefully. In our case, we were in a rush against time and didn't listen to where the clue loops, thus arranging the first step of the puzzle wrongly (none of the 7 people noticed!).

Anyway, definitely an eye-opener. We're planning to go for more in the future already! ^_^

An Appreciation for Singapore

Took a last minute trip to Cameron Highlands with some relatives as I wanted to "get out of Singapore". It was a nice getaway to enjoy the scenery and get back in touch with nature. For the place itself, it's actually quite laid-back, mostly visiting farmlands and vegetation.

Major bad points include terrible traffic jams, long coach trips and some people who are self-centered and non-accomodating.

Each time I return from an overseas trip, I gain a greater appreciation of Singapore. It's not perfect, but there are some "basic necessities" you take for granted in our country. Things like sanitation (e.g. you can always find water and paper in any shopping malls toilet), hygiene, organized systems (e.g. queuing) really stands out.

I also got a bit closer with my nephews and nieces, which was quite nice. :)

Langkawi Trip!

My first real overseas trip in a really long time!

To keep it short. I had a lot of fun and I think it's a really good place to get away from the 'cities'.

The trip main event was XJ proposal, which was a great success!

I really enjoyed the road trip feel, where we rent our own vehicle, and blast/sing music in the van.

The drinking session on the first night was also the most intense one I've ever had. I finally know what it felt like to reach the stage where you 'can't walk in a straight line'.

It's a really 'high' feeling though. The best is to reach the 'sweet spot' where you're not throwing up, your mind is still pretty clear but your physical world is slightly spinning. It's a really good feeling.

Other than that, we went island hopping to a few nearby islands (which was quite tiring) and just took lots of photos.

The only 败笔 came on the last day, when I careless forgot my phone is in my pocket... and jump into the water -.-

...

That will be the story for the next post.

Grand Bunglow, Revisited

I was really really happy yesterday.

Haha.

It's been a while since I had such a good, heartfelt laugh.

Laugh for the whole night.

And It feels really good.

Damn freaking good.

...

Chit chat session under the skies on the balcony, playing games, watching movies, and best of all, the warm, soft and cuddly bed~~~

Hmmm~~~ Happiness just thinking about it~ *hands clasped to cheeks, pink background with bubbles

This place really contain some of my fondest memories during that period of time, and I really missed it here. I think it's been... 2 years at least?

I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness though...

Gone were the juicy gossips, truth or dare games, crazy antics (crazy people) and through the night "heart to heart" sessions (ok there was a minor one)...

...

Still, I was so glad to be able to visit and relive that again.

To almost feel like I'm part of something again.

How is it that life back then sucks more, but somehow I was happier?

Anyway, sincerely thank the host and everyone who attended.

I sooo wanna go there again!

Big Bro Wedding Dinner

Yesterday was my Da Ge wedding dinner... Also the first time in my life I got to sit at the VIP table.

Not much difference, just that you get your own portion of food instead of everyone "sharing a big plate".

It's really a long and tiring affair.

Wake up before 6AM, prepare this and prepare that, fetch the bride, return to groom house, go to new house, return back to groom house, check in at hotel, etc etc...

Lot of procedures and special ceremonies to go through.

The food's not as good as the "Food Tasting" session 1 month back... but still not bad lah...

The whole event was quite successful...except I don't know understand why we have to invite some rogues.

Maybe my brother is easier to get along. He tries to make everyone happy. He just let whoever call whoever they want.

But not me. Not my business anyway. Just my thoughts.

Some Photos...

First time in my life I seen a "professional makeup artist"... Her whole luggage of makeup equipments... This thing interest me the most cause it looks a lot like those water colour palette I used for Primary School Art Lessons...

View from the hotel room... nothing special...

Wedding song list I found in their room...

The atmosphere is really quite good...

My favourite dish of the night...

A Decade Gathering

We finally managed to organize a Primary School Gathering after 12 FRIGGING YEARS. OMG.

12 YEARS!!!

I've lost contact with almost everyone except Ron.

Long story short, it was Facebook and a class photo which brought us together again.

We manage to get together for a lunch on 2nd Jan. Well, let's just say it was a "minor success".

5th Jan, we went back to Xishan~

十二年之后重返母校的感觉。。。真的是很爽! 仿佛有种时光倒流的感觉。

...

Geez... I haven't stepped into this area since I graduated from the school.

For 12 years I haven't been back in this place.

It's like back to the past all over again...

...

...

Sad thing is...

And there's only 2 areas of the school from my memory that's still "left intact" today.

The main gate & the zebra crossing... the long sheltered walkway to the assembly area.

And the stone path leading to the pond with the red bridge~! (I can't believe it's still here!)

Other than these places, the entire place had been given a facelift.

Buildings were extended, the hall totally "reversed", the bookstore shifted away, and all the fields are now gone.

All those areas behind the classroom where we use to catch spiders are gone.

All the chin-up bars and monkey bars and hopscotch areas are gone!!!

:(

I bet kids nowadays dont' even know what's Hopscotch. And it used to be one of our class favourite "canteen break" activity...

...

...

Unfortunately, we came back at a very inappropriate time. Most of the places are blocked off, and even the canteen is closed.

:(

Well

So Long~

"Stand up for Xishan~~~ Never must we let her down~~~"

T3 3rd Gathering

And guess what?

This might be the final time.

I don't even know if I can classify it as a "major gathering" anymore... LOL.

Each year, the number of people gets lesser and lesser...

It really lost the vitality of the 1st gathering in 2007 and the 2nd one in 2008..

Really pathetic response.

We sent out invitations to over 40+ people.

20 CONFIRMED their attendence.

Only 9 turned up.

All last minute this happen that happen, arbo is just totally AWOL.

ZZZ...

ONCE IN A YEAR only event and such poor response.

: (

I guess this is how it is like.

All the "pacts and promises" we made during the dark times to keep this annual gathering tradition...

Promises are easy to make but hard to keep.

: (

Well anyway.

I still enjoyed it tremendously.

Awesome 5 star hotel buffet with tons of delicacies. From nyona prawns to salmons, sashimi & sushi to roasted turkey and all sort of exotic food. Top it off with my favourite chocolate fondue, ice cream, dessert and caramel cakes. Yum Yum~

We had loads of fun "experimenting" with all sort of combinations. Like adding fondue to Ice Kachang, mixing them with Ice Cream and stuff... And they taste surprisingly "not bad". LOL.

And Nixon is now a chef at a hotel! (Shatec pro graduate)

No wonder he knows this kind of lobang.

The original price of the buffet was like $40+, but we are able to get it for us at a special rate of $25!

Eww... Thanks for the recommendation! It's been VERY LONG since I had such a great and satisfying meal.

And lastly...

Really hope the numbers will "rebounce" for the next gathering...

I don't want to see this annual affair fade into oblivion and scrapped.

Graduation Outing!

15th June

Actually was planning to just relax at home the whole day...

Woke up at like 10am... login onto MSN, then immediately received a message from Mr Fish asking If I wanted to go Malaysia.

He actually asked me this the previous week, but I just told him that my passport has expired. Turned out, he just discover that his passport has expired as well... -_-

So OK... got people company me... so we went down to ICA together.

Long story short, we were stalled there for a LONG time... (Mine was done in like 5 minutes, Yat Yat one took like 3 hours)

Met up with YZ while we were there... and YZ brought me to see someone special...

Mr. Ah Cheng! (The Old Driver)

Surprised! Guess what... He's already married and with 1 child already!!! Initially I still don't believe it when YZ told me that...

It's been barely 2 years and things have changed so much. He's now the boss of a hawker stall there with his Dad~

...

...

Anyway, the long delay caused YZ to miss his lunch as well... Haha. We originally planned to meet at Kranji at 2:30pm... In the end, we reached there at almost 4... -_-

As for the trip, nothing much to say lah...

Don't ask me about the people who went... I'm not the organizer.

I didn't even know who's going beforehand.

Mr Fish invited me and I just went. ^_^

16th June

Yeah... my big day. Brought a lot of food back for the guys...

I thought I made a safe getaway (take it on the lam!)... but I was setup by stupid Kenny...

In the end, I was drenched in water...

...

Went out with few of the guys to KBOX after that.

And it was a real "eye-opener" for all of us.

Maybe it's because I haven't visit a KBOX for a long time (I've found much cheaper alternative...)

But this one is really worth it. The screen is freaking huge! (42 inch above I think)

Everything is touchscreen.

There's games to play on the "control kiosk"... (In fact, ZJ seems more interested in the games then the mic, LOL!)

There are special effects like "appulse, cheers" that you can play when you're singing.

$10 Nett for each person.

...

2pm to 7pm...

Tell me any other place where you can sing for 5 HOURS for $10 per person in this kind of environment...

...

...

LOL...

But there's a dark secret behind it lah...

Yes... it's a "不能说的秘密"

Leon's Farewell

This is written as 2 separate posts combined.

25th April 2009

First, dinner at Cafe Iguana (Some Mexican Cuisine Restaurant)...

Quite a lot of in attendance, including some rare guests whom I haven't seen in ages. Some for nearly a year I think.

Wei Qi, Joo San, Charleston... Think I haven't seen them since the ORD Dinner in June 2008. And Jonathan of course... think he take the chance to come back during some long Holiday Season.

Oh, and I guess I can consider Yun Zhen a rare guest too. But then again, he just appeared to say Hi... O_o

...

Other than that, it's just the usual gang of people...

Main topic mostly resolves around a very sad case about a certain course-mate back in our "Basic Dog Handler Course" days... crazy case that shocked everyone.

I think this is the first time that someone I know get into trouble of such scale...

...

I think Wei Qi should be glad that he came to PDF with us... and not be posted to some other "ulu" place alone. Otherwise, it's hard to say where he'll be right now... LOL.

...

Anyway... basically just lots of catching up with one another on old times. I don't like the food though. These kind of exotic food just doesn't suits me. Haha.

Half of the group went home after that, while our batch guys and Leon went for a little "tour around Singapore"... hunting for some place to sit down...

O_O

Anyway, eventually went to some placed call "Grapevine"...

...

Basically just chit-chat some more, more "good-old times", and some supper before we went home...

27th April 2009

This is the actual sending off.

Once again, even more people I haven't seen for quite some time, namely Edwin & Wei Hao. Maybe SK.

O_O

...

Ha... seems like lot of my friends are leaving the country.

Unlike Dominic, it's not actually known if Leon will be coming back to Singapore...

So it's probably going to be quite a long time before we'll get too see him again.

All Da Best~

A Farewell Salute!

Dominic Farewell

Went to see Dominic off at the Airport...

Been ages since I've been there.

As usual, he's full of nonsense.

With him gone, I reckon there'll now be less K9 gatherings (Or maybe even cease to exist). Quite sad, cause I really didn't have the time to go out with them since school started. Didn't even manage to attend the final movie gathering...

But hey, I made the effort to see him off even though I'm seriously ill. Traveling 100 minutes from 1 end of the green line to the other end. (When I told Geraint that, he told me it's not true; cause the end is now at Joo Koon. OMG... Super lamer.)

:(

...

All this for...

The most annoying friend I know in my life. The one that goes around "rearranging" people's cupboard & disturbing others rest. The one that hide in the cupboard to scare you. The naked entity that you see when you wake up. -_- The one that always scold "dumbass", "booby-face" and comes up with weird nicknames for everyone...

I can go on and on about his nonsense.

...

...

Well... That's all folks.

Wonder how much he'll change when I see him next time.

I think maybe 0%.

...

Haha.

Some photos (since I took mostly videos)...

Sky Train!

Only see this on TV before... LOL.

Gift Opening Moment...

The time has come...

One last group photo before departure...

Feb Graduation Dinner...

I practically "risk my life" to attend this dinner, considering the major test on Friday.(which I planned to study for today)

Anyway... this is their "once in a lifetime" event and since they invited me, someone from ages ago, I just have to turn up. Haha...

Only thing is I didn't expect it to be such a GRAND event...

Once again, I got tricked by Mr Karl Dominic James. If I knew about the whole thing, I wouldn't have went.

I will NEVER, EVER believe him again. He can go screw himself.

I seriously have enough of his nonsense.

Anyway... for the dinner... held at Tony Roma.

The food there is very good (and also very expensive). Shared this family feast with Yat Kan. $62 bucks: 2 HUGE chickens, ribs, shrimps, corns and salad. Worth it bah I feel...

Saw some of the new guys...

Then got the news about Vincent getting married this October as he brought his "wife to-be" along for the dinner also...

Another news I got was... Kam went back to visit on Monday! (2 days ago!)

Wah. That really surprises me.

From what I heard, he went back cause he thought something happened to Sonja. LOL, and he went back alone.

And guess what? The only ones left there who recognizes him are Karl's (the graduation batch) and CJ's batch...

Time really flies... I didn't expect him to go back though. He's like a really "ancient character" now... haven't seen him forever.

...

...

And 1 more thing... heard that Bart's condition is getting really really bad. His weight dropped by 5kg in 1 month!

He now weighs at 23 KG!

WTH?!

That's like totally skin and bones!

All the time in the past (for 8 months) when I was taking him, he was always at 32 plus KG. Hyper and active and always finishes his food.

I only left for barely 6 months, and this is happening to him... Heard he's going for some major checkup this week...

Haiz... I guess no one really cares about him anymore...

I think I'm still the one who dote on you the most right, Bart? ^_^

...

...

...

Haiz...

Sometimes ah...

The more people I meet in this world, the more I misses Bart & Jimmy*...

...

...

Note: I meant only the 2 of them, not anything or anyone else from that place.

3 Gatherings!

1. Poly 2 Years Reunion Gathering (15th Dec 08)

Went to eat steamboat at "Chong Qing" restaurant at Bugis...

Very bad idea. Quite a lot of people attended including some 04 guys.

Saw a person who wants to break the World Record for being the first "deaf and mute" to travel around the world...

2. Wei Long Birthday (19th Dec 08)

Took place yesterday night... stayed over at Geraint place. Found out a lot about K9 happenings... -_-

3. Taurus 3, 2nd Gathering  (20th Dec 08)

Went for dinner at "Changing Appetite" at Marina Place..

Saturday, December 20, 2008

What's your darkest secret?

...

What a difficult question to answer...

...

Very difficult indeed.

Kenny's 19th Birthday!

Participants: Kenny, Geraint, Leon, Karl, Edmund, Wei Long, Nigel, Samuel and myself...

Main event was playing Pictionary!

Kenny is just godly at the game -_-... He got like nearly 20 cards out of the 50 initial questions I think.

Geraint came in 2nd at like around 10. And I only got like 3 or 4... Haha.

Then Edmund kept saying I sucks at guessing...

What the hell lah... the questions itself are bias towards them loh. Some of it are totally irrelevant to me already, like recent term which doesn't exists during my time.

And I have no idea why they kept shouting "Serah Palin" for every single question, and Dominic "XXX Big Boobs". LOL.

Had lots of fun though... kept yelling till I almost lost my voice... Must really applaud them for coming up with such hilarious themes.

We played for hours I think, until we ran out of the questions. Then Karl volunteered to set the question, but most of them are extremely predictable... haha.

You just have to think about what he usually says, and he's still saying the same things. I remembered one when the drawer has barely even started to draw, and I just shout randomly "SARAVANANA~~~"

And THAT WAS THE CORRECT ANSWER!!!

ROFL!

That was freaking lame.

Haha

Anyway...

I only took a couple of clips, and some of them just can't be shown... LOL. It's just way too over already... (May get them into trouble. Haha.)

After filtering a bit, I'm just left with these 2...

Pictionary (Obama)

Pictionary (Deepavali)

Went to a Italian restaurant (I think) for dinner...

When we were ordering food, Mr Maths Professor Seow started doing all the "Pi R Square" stuffs... and calculating the area and circumference of each pizza size to see which one is more worth it...

-_-

Totally stun lah... Just when I thought no more Maths... I don't know what the waitress would think if she realized why we're taking so long to order. We're trying to calculating whether the area of a 21 inch pizza is bigger than 2 12 inch pizza or something, and then dividing by the cost etc to see which one is of better value... -_-

Geez... buay tahan...

Anyway, we decided to order the largest one to share...

And man...

It was humongous!

Yun Zhen joined us halfway through the dinner and just spam chicken wings...

Birthday Song

After the celebration, went back to Geraint house to relax...

And got to know a little more "insider" info...

Anyway... just hang around play more games.

Many thanks to Nigel for sending us home.

Geraint Birthday Gathering...

17th October 2008

Just nice... E-Learning for 101 today, so I was able to leave earlier and join the gang at Karl's new Condo.

Meet up with Jia Yun and Kenny before taking a bus to there. It was sort of like an "eye opener"... first time I see a lift which is designed in such a way that it stops directly in front of your house... Maybe this design is actually very common and I am too "Sua Gu"... need to visit more condo apartments...

Went swimming with the gang (Geraint, Karl, Kenny, Jia Yun & Leon)~ and we did some super lame and childish things... things that I think no "ordinary" 20 year olds would do.

E.G: Running in circles continuously in the jacuzzi to produce a "whirlpool" effect, taking photos in some "strange" positions... -_-

Wei Long didn't join in cause he wasn't feeling well. Benjamin didn't join in too as Yun Zhen wasn't there.

...

Lots of fun playing with the dog Scooter. He's so friendly and cute, and he'll response to everyone, even total strangers. Only thing is he likes to hump people. Hahaha... Left the place at around 7 for the dinner at Mayim, a Chinese Restaurant (Karl called it the "Budget Crystal Jade")

Participants (14): Geraint, Karl, Kenny, Wei Long, Jia Yun, Benjamin, Leon, Edmund, Edwin, Jansen, Samuel, Nigel, Danesh and myself.

The Food

Basically, all of us ordered our own dish and share a couple of others. I think the best of all is the Golden Shrimps dish... It's really golden, and the price is really golden too. Worth its price.

The "healthy venison" wasn't that good... I guess "healthy" food just doesn't taste as good as "unhealthy ones"... "Xiao Long Bao" was alright, but I think eat too much will get sick of it... The waitress was quite stun at the number of "crates" we ordered.

Some funny stuff... when we were ordering the drinks, Samuel said, "I want an Ice English Tea with Milk".

At that moment, I was wondering, "what the hell is that?"

...

Turns out to be "Teh Bing"... -_-, but that's really what is written on the menu.

So, next time you wanna act "high class" or "angmoh" at the coffee shop, tell the uncle you want an "Ice English Tea with Milk". Hahaha...

Most of their topics revolved around the Kindergarten, so I'm kind of like just "listening and enjoying their conversation": The new life there, the new people there. And what has(or hasn't) changed.

Actually, it's only been a little over 2 months since I left, but it seems like ages. Our time is over... it's time for the new generation to take up their weapons and fight for themselves. Wahahaha...

...

Nigel is having way too much fun with the dry ice... and Jansen. The effects they create looks a lot like The Undertaker's entrance. I think they're trying to destroy all their utensils. Karl made another lame comment, saying we should do that at "where they stand" so that other people can't see them... -_-

Dinner ended at around 10pm...

I really wanted to go home, but Karl kept pressuring me to go Geraint house with all sort of reasons. In the end, he actually made me feel guilty if I don't go. -_-

At Geraint House...

Mainly playing Rock Band 2 throughout with them, which was quite fun. It's your typical "hit the keys to match the notes" music game, except that you're really playing the instrument instead of using a controller.

Nigel managed to cleared 1 song on expert using the microphone! Other then that, he was mostly on the drums while Edmund, Karl and me took turns with the 2 guitars.

I was quite newb with the game so I just kept playing the guitar on easy (3 notes), which is totally no kick. I can't move up to 4 notes, because then my hand coordination will screw up and cause the band to lose. Haha...

Our "agreement" was to leave at 12pm, but Nigel got so addicted to the game that he didn't want to leave. He just kept sniffing his "nose clearing" device and hitting the drums... -_-

So nevermind, we decide to watch a "horror movie" while leaving him and Samuel in the room to play. The movie is really quite crap... will talk about it later...

In the end, we were all just like waiting for each other to go home until around 2am I think...

Concussed upon home... slept until mid noon...

June Graduation Dinner

What an insane yet emotional dinner it was... for me at least. It marks the end of a chapter in the school's history... and for me, it's a lot of mixed feelings...

On one hand, I felt the joyousness of the June guys. On the other, the melancholy mood of the guys that will continue their journey at the school... I'm like mixed in between the 2 of them. I don't know which side I'm actually on. I'm confused - I'm delighted yet miserable, I'm excited yet indifferent at the same time. It's crazy...

Over 15 months ago, all of us enrolled into the Kindergarten together. We've really been through a lot, through the good and the bad times. We've seen batch after batch joined us in this long and arduous journey. We've seen not only the changes of the school, but also the changes of the people around us.

Now, I shall be frank - I don't like everyone at the Kindergarten. There are some people that I just dislike. There are some whom behaviour I simply can't approve of. There are some that I simply just can't get along with. And It's not just me. I'm sure everyone have someone they dislike at the school. Like I mentioned in the post about relations though, your "working relations" does NOT NECESSARY affect your personal relationships with them as friends. However, many times, your working attitude CAN AND WILL affect your personal relations...

Then again...

...

On this night, it doesn't matter.

On this night, we came together to celebrate the graduation of our friends and our peers.

We came together to witness a group of people moved from the present to the past, into the historical pages of the school.

People from all different batches have gathered to mark this historic milestone.

...

This is the biggest gathering we ever had, and probably ever will have. I find it hard to believe that we will ever have so many people come out together again...

Participants includes: (The Past) Jun Xian, Mun Wei, Zhi Hao, Baxter, Wei Qi, Yao Peng, Charleston, Anthony, (Present) Me, Wei Hao, Jonathan, You Long, Joseph <+ GF> , Soon Kiat, Edwin, Shi Hao, Yun Zhen, Jansen, Benjamin, (Future) Karl, Geraint, Leon, Wei Long, Jason...

It's havoc. We were making so much noise and attracting so much attention that I'm worried that police might come. -_- We looked like we're having some kind of illegal activity.

The meal was great (but a little scarce), and it was just great to see so many people came. Almost everyone that "can be there" were there, except for a few that "fly aeroplane" and some that had to go for their "lessons". The photo taking sessions was the real highlight. We group the people into every possible categories and took photos after photos after photos. SK was the super-joker of the night with all his hilarious poses and him trying to "get involve into every single photo".

As night falls and everyone started to disperse, I really wonder if we'll ever see the June guys again. Yeah yeah... we say "next graduation" have another gathering again, but is it really possible? Hopefully bah~ (Karl already "invited" us to send him off when he's leaving Singapore...)

For the June guys... enjoy your victory.

Some words from me...

Wei Qi - The "enmity" between us cannot be resolved right now.. I don't know when or how it got started, but everytime I see you I'm damn pissed off. Always say sarcastic 风凉话 to me only... Only time can heal the deep wounds you have inflicted on me, and the hatred I bear towards you...

Jun Xian (Soh) - "Experience is the worst teacher; it gives the test before presenting the lesson." Yes... I will remember the 2 "examinations" we took together for a long long time. The "Mid Autumn" night, and of course the "T3 Decision"... and I will definitely remember the "lessons" you have taught me.

Zhi Hao - If YZ is the god, then you are the deity. I will remember you as the one that graduated 1 month earlier than you're supposed to graduate...

Baxter - Stop mixing "Ice Milo + Coke"... It freaks me out. Your "Smallville" will forever be remembered as the official series of the school.

Yao Peng - Like SK said... our taxi fares jumped from $4 to $6 after your left... Haha...take care. Let's meet up for lunch at 768 sometimes.

Charleston - No more "Eh tuck in your shirt!" crap anymore... LOL. Remember to jio us play DOTA~

Anthony - Really thanks a lot for the DVD! I think you did an awesome job. I've looked through it... and it brought back so much memories - back when we were still "ultra newbie" times... and now we all have/are going to graduate. We wouldn't have this important piece of memory without you effort. Take care~

Some of them will continue schooling, others have started working or even became their own boss...

Some will continue to "zuo bo" for some...

Whatever they decide to do, I sincerely wish them all the best~

Till we see each others again...

Wii Party Late Mystery?

Wii Party Group (WPG) - Consists of Leon, Karl, Geraint, Charleston, Wei Long, Benjamin and myself.

Wah Lau... the dinner is supposedly to start at 7pm, and somehow all of them blamed me for making the WPG for arriving late. -_- What the...?

Basically we went to Karl house first for him to wash up (Scooty and Tiny) before heading off to Geraint house for the Wii Party!

Watched Dead Silence (pretty good horror movie), played Wii Tennis, Wii Golf, Wariosmooth until we "forgot" the time...

At first, we wanted to leave at like 6pm. Unfortunately, we played the Golf (Ben, Charleston, Me) until a little past 6. Then Geraint wanted to show us the "Wario" game...

He said it's very fast and takes like only a few minutes, but after he "demonstrated" once all of us wanted to try the game.

At this point, I said "Aiya... go so early also no use. It's like Chinese Wedding Dinner, go early also wait nia..."

And so... we decided to play a "few more rounds" until it's like 6:30pm... And then, THEY decided to play the Wario Darts, which I DID NOT participate in...

It's them that keep busting the scores and had to throw again and again. LOL. So how can I be held fully accountable for WPG arriving late?

And what's more, Wei Long is busy "programming his Window Vista" according to Karl... LOL! That was like most random comment of the day.

In the end, we became one of the last group of arrived for the dinner...

Geraint's House BBQ

Just came back from yet another Kindergarten gathering. Participants includes Geraint (Host), Karl (Organizer), Yun Zhen (Birthday Boy), Wei Long, Edwin, Yao Peng, Anthony, Benjamin, Cheung Jie and Wei Qi.

These days really a lot of gatherings. In fact, I don't think there were any in my first year at the Kindergarten (excluding those clubbers kind). Really thanks to Karl that we get to have so many "get-together" sessions. Somehow, a lot of people will turn up for the events he organizes.

Geraint's residence is really huge (Top 3 biggest friends home I've seen), and he has got a level all for himself.

Mostly is spammed Wii at his house... It's also one of the main reason I went despite having a very tiring night before (heh). Played the Mario Brawl game which I really sucks at. Then our "Official Kindergarten game" Mario Kart. It was really hard using the motion sensor as you have to gauge how much to turn the Wii-Wheel. -_-

And of course, my favourite game of the night - Wii Sports. We basically played that for the rest of the night. Was hilarious watching them played, especially the boxing game. As for me, I kept playing tennis against Edwin and Yun Zhen... again and again and again. Swing until right arm sore... very fun party game.

Of course, we didn't forget to give the birthday boy a surprise. Heh. Quite stress leh... cause we lit the candles downstairs, and I had to bring it up. Then I had to "protect the flame" from going out while climbing the dark stairs alone... At the same time, must make sure he doesn't see the cake. In the end I had to "hide" behind a wall to wait for the signal... Then he still keep running around... Simi sai...

I don't think he expected it...heh... Hope he enjoyed what we prepared for him. 20 years old liao hor. Don't be so siao all the time.

Food was alright, especially the chicken wings. Otah sucks though. Special thanks to Anthony for being the "main chef" for the night. So...What I do?

Basically...

1) Eat
2) Play Wii
3) Eat
4) Play Wii
5) Rinse and Repeat.

TCSS session. Originally planned to go home at 10+, but play until forget the time. Luckily got Benben to give us a ride home...

I think next time must go again... couldn't get enough of Wii. :P

K9KBox

Before that, I'm quite upset with a new system being implemented. I think it's extremely tiring to proceed to the washing after running... but bo bian...

And the worse thing is cannot take off on these days! WTH?! All my support this entire month is ON those days. God... how you want me to clear?

*Take knife and stabs myself

Took half day off, went out with Joseph, Mun Wei, Wei Long, Edwin and Benjamin to KBox. Been a long time since I've been to one. (Outcast by Pol... nevermind)

Joined later by Joseph's girl and Yun Zhen. Nothing much.... I thought the last 45 minutes was more worth it than the 4 hours in front... ^_^

I guess there are really 2 types of songs in KTV. Those that let you show off your skills, and those that let you scream and 'get high'. LOL. We spammed all the 2nd type of songs at the end. When you get everyone to sing together, whether the tune/pitch is correct no longer matters that much... Hahaha. We just need it to be LOUD.

Really tired now. The morning run (after missing it for nearly a month) is starting to get to me now. I'm really sleepy...

I think I need to come up with a "Sleep Deprivation Act" (A set of rules that I had to adhere to strictly for my own good)....

Next time... next time...
