Located to the west of the Kay Kingdom. Consists of 3 main locations, the Sweet Mountain (糖果山), Sweet Turnabout (糖果弯) and the Main Fort (主营寨). Again, the dark enemies have withdraw most of their forces...
Evil Mortuary Road (黄泉之路)
Situated just south of the Joyless Lands... This is the only remaining place still heavily under attack...
Necromancers Berth (巫师泊)
Located at the far south-west and far east of the Kay Kingdom where the enemies attack from the sea.
Cranberry Cities (啃玻璃城市)
The capital of Kay Kingdom... Inside it lies the infamous...
Pentagon Divine Fortress (五角天堡)
Consists of 6 major areas...
1. Royal Palace / God Tower (宫廷神塔) - This is where the God and Kings and Royal Officials lives... stay far away from this place.
2. Imperial Stables (宫廷马厩) - Situated upon a hill.... The Kay Knights residence.
3. Imperial Kitchen (御膳房) - As its name suggest... provides food for the residents.
4. Scholar's Academy (御书房) - The place where the scholars gather... to plan for greater cause...
5. Imperial Pharmacy (太医院) - Practitioners of the Arts of Survival love to visit this place...
6. South Heaven Gates (南天门) - Entrance into the Fortress.

Kay Kingdom Epilogue - The Return
I almost made it to the Scholar's Academy... but by a twist of fate, I ended back rejoining the ranks of the Kay Knights again.
The feeling is like one of your feet is already on heaven's ground...
But you slipped and fall... ... falling into the depths of hell...
Again...
...
It's a long story, but the main gist is that I didn't expect the Chief of the Scholar's Academy to go missing in action...
And the greatest miscalculation was speaking to General Koala from the Imperial Stables... I thought I could trust him.
...
But I was wrong.
In the end, I was "setup" by him, and recalled back by the Lord of the Knights...

And it was the beginning of a "series of unfortunate events"...
...
They claimed that I was a jinx there, because a lot of bad things happened from the day of my return...
...
Indeed... I am an unlucky man.
May I am cursed...
And I plan to leave all my bad luck behind in this cursed kingdom...

Scholar's Academy Or Imperial Stables?

Strangely, I felt extraordinary calm the night before, and when I woke up today.
Extraordinarily peaceful.
It's uncanny.
...
So for the first time in more than 10 months, I equipped my character with the "Emerald Armor", which instantly reduces my intellectual stat by 30.
I then equipped myself with the "Black Boots", which once again reduce movement speed and agility.
And so I started my journey back to the grand capital of Kay Kingdom...
Cranberry City...

The Pentagon Divine Fortress...

Upon arrival at the gates, I handed over my "Recommendation Letter" to the guards.
And I realized that the place stated on the letter is actually the Scholar's Academy (御书房)... and I'm going to meet the Chief of the academy! (御书房总管)
Wow, it's really like meeting an old friend again.
We basically chit-chat about all things unrelated to official matters, LOL.
And then...
The Chief asked, "Do you want to stay with me, or return to the Imperial Stables, to rejoin the ranks of the Kay Knights?"

Do you think I'm out of my mind?
Of course I said I wanted to stay in the Scholar's Academy.
...
I plead to stay there, but the decision is not up to the Chief...
"That will depends on whether the Lord of Kay Knights wants you back or not... ", she said.

If he don't want me back, I'll stay with the Scholar's Academy.
It will all come down to him.
But strangely, he is not-contactable at the moment.
He has gone missing in action.

I was re-enstated as a citizen of the Kay Kingdom after that... and dismissed shortly after.

Legend Of Kay Kingdom VIII
LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM VIII - Fall Of A Dynasty
IMPORTANT NOTE: This story is purely fictitious. Any resemblance to reality (people living or dead, places past or present) is purely coincidental.
"Pushed to your mental and physical limits, this is the time when everyone reveals their true self. All your masks and pretensions are torn from your psyche and what is left is only the real you.
Sometimes you can be selfless and noble, but often you are just weak and selfish like almost every other person is when pushed to the breaking point - it all depends on how far you can be pushed before you start to break..."

In this place, you'll learn the truth...
How some people can be so uncaring, unloving... and so ruthless...
How some people can continuously and repeatedly hurt the people they fight alongside with...
How can they feel absolutely no remorse and guilt for doing things that hurt their own friends.
How can they just stand around, doing nothing while watching their comrades fight a losing battle against evil.

Simply the sight of this place brings much grief and despair.
The people lament the happiness that they've lot.
They cry for the ones living and suffering, and they mourn the unrestful spirits of the dead....
Now, the people come together to witness the end of a dynasty, the fall of a great kingdom...

The 3 Pillars (三大支柱) - The original upholders of law and order during the early tribal days of the Kay Knights. They were removed from power and reincarnated during the " 7 Eclipse", which indirectly lead to the beginning of the Circle internal strife.
The Warden (守望者) - Inherited most of the power after the collapsing of the 3 pillars. The mastermind behind a majority of changes in the Kay Kingdom at the start of the Great War...
Black & White Trio (黑白无常) - Some of the oldest masters of the Kay Kingdom. They are the last 2 persons to be reincarnated in the 7th Eclipse.
Blade Dancer (舞将) - Practises a powerful swordplay art derived from a folk dance.
13 Chariots (十三军骑) - The last group of knights inducted during the village days. They went through a lot of hardship and can be considered to be the ones to lay the foundation for the New Circle in the Imperial City after the move. On the other hand, they were also the root of most troubles..
10 Crusaders (十烈士) - The first group of knights to be inducted into the New Circle. Without them, the Kay Kingdom wouldn't have last for this long...
6 Dragoons (六旗兵) - The 6 dragoons arrived just before the start of the Great War and went through the exchange of leadership...
4 Swordsman (四剑客) - The last group of knights before the 8th Eclipse.
5 Gardeners (五园丁) - First knights of the "New Order".
9 Fighters (九战士) - The main group of knights to replace those of the "Old Order"... The future fate of the Kay Knights will depend on them...

After Chief Kingfisher left the Kingdom, the power and unity of the circle declined rapidly. One of the Kay Generals, possessed by evil spirit, seized the chance to usurp power during the exchange of leadership. He rose to the position of the Kay Minister within months and brought about great sufferings to its people. Higher taxes, more violence and slavery. Countless homes were destroyed and thousands of lives were lost.
This was the tumultuous Warring States Period (春秋战国). The Kingdom split into 4 States from this division of power and the people of the circle were separated into each of them. Not only did they have to defend themselves against the external evil force, they had to deal with their own people as well...
The greatest Illusionist of that time was banished into the depths of the Great Dungeon after his plot was revealed. More and more of the knights fell as the enemies continued their relentless assault. It spells the ultimate downfall of the kingdom.
During the 8th Eclipse, a powerful wizard managed to purge the evil spirit from the dark minister body, or so the legend says. What exactly happened is unclear; Some said the Evil Spirit was eradicated. Others said it possessed another being... The scariest theory was that the Spirit had transformed itself into another human being... and continues to wreck havoc within the Kay Kingdom...

To this date, no one can confirm whether the Kay Kingdom actually exists or not. It sounds totally like a fantasy tale, but records do show signs of its existence. Unfortunately, no one can verify in which era or which part of the human timeline it actually occurs. Some experts speculate that the civilization may actually have been formed in another world, or more specifically - another dimension.
They refer to this world as the "Nether" or the "Stygian" dimension. (Translated as "Dark Hell")...

It appears that when a person meets a certain set of criteria, he will be "teleported" to this Dimension. Upon reaching this dimension, his soul will be drained from his body, and he will stay in this world until he completed his "mission".
When the moment arrives, the person will walk through the "Portal Of Reincarnation", and returned to the real world...

Legend Of Kay Kingdom VII
LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM VII - The Great War

5th Year of the 7th Eclipse...
500,000 of undead legions marched through the gates of darkness, sending trembles across the lands. Everywhere the infernal legion went, thousands of homes were destroyed and countless humans were massacred. Terrifying screams of women and children echoed in the air as the Kay Waters became a lake of crimson blood overnight.
The numerous villages and towns of Kay Kingdom were in no position to defend themselves against the forces of darkness, and in less than a month, the 3 main routes of the Kay Kingdom come under heavy siege.
Joyless Lands
The lands have been under the demons attack for hundreds of years, but never before had the Kay Knights faced such an overwhelming numbers. Endless waves of undead consisting of zombies, wraiths, ghosts and witches descended from the skies and swept across the Joyless Lands. It was a terrifying sight!
The strength of the undead legions skyrocketed from 40,000 to an estimated 150,000! In addition, the demons simultaneously launch attacks on the "Mt.Candy" and "Candy Turnabout" (2 vital defence posts in the Joyless Lands) with over 120,000 of monstrous creatures. This was when the term "Joyless Lands" became equivalent to "Hell On Earth"...
Savage Waters
Undead reinforcements consists of swamp and sea monsters of the deep, such as the deadly hydras and piranhas totalling 90,000 (up from original 20,000). To further pressure the Knights, The undead made a pact with the "Pirates of the High Seas", (Totalling near 120,000) to aid in the siege by patrolling the nearby waters.
Luckily, the rich merchants of the region are usually able to keep those pirates under control using large amount of bribes. In comparison, this place is the easiest to defend out of the 3. However, it becomes a totally different situation when the Chilling Serpent strikes...
Evil Mortuary Road
A place that stinks of rotting corpses.... the 150,000 (Up from original 20,000) undead legion besiege the guardpost with their unholy armies of cerebus and hellhounds...The legendary flying beast known as the "Chilling Gargoyle" can sometimes be seen patrolling the region, tearing apart any living beings that is unlucky enough to be spotted.
When that time arrives, only a handful of elites known as the "Gods of War" are able to bestow the necessary protection for this place... However, even gods are human beings (神也是人)...

This was the start of "The Great War".
And once it starts, it never ends.
For the next few hundred years, and until records of the Kay Kingdom cease to exists, there were no signs of the war ending. The people of Kay Kingdom will forever live under the threat of war...
No matter how much monsters the Imperials manage to kill, no matter how much demons the knights manage to slain and how much spirits the priests manage to dispel... more and more will just spawn from the portal of darkness. They came in swarms and in waves, each time in greater numbers and each time in greater strength...

It is endless, and it is hopeless...

Years passed...
By then, the Circle was just a shadow of its former self. Gone were the unity, and gone were the harmony...
The Knights started to break apart one by one. At first, one knight had to take on 10 enemies. As their comrades began to fall one by one, the pressure on the remaining ones increased tremendously. The Knights have to take 1 to 20, then to 50, then to 100. As the knight take on more enemies, the more likely he is to fall. When he fall, the remaining knights take on even more enemies. It is an vicious downward spiral for the Knights.There were fewer and fewer knights, yet the monsters only kept increasing.
At this point, one of the greatest philosophers from the Kay Kingdom created what would later be known to the modern world as "The Table Theory".
The knights were plagued with illness and injuries... From the top to the very bottom, none of them were spared. They were on the verge of destruction...
Even worse, many people would take advantage of their own comrades during such dire times in exchange for personal gains...
And of course, such people will not be spared from being inducted into the "Hall of 8 Immortals"...

Background: When the love of his life left him, he decides to unleash his wrath upon this cruel world...
Description: He was later regarded as one of the greatest of the 8 immortals based on all the 4 arts combined after he was reincarnated. As a a disciple of the Dark Immortal and a close friend of the Cannon Fairy, he was able to derived many unique techniques from the people around him. During his final days, he became one of the most feared character in the Kay Kingdom...

Description: Combining the highest form of arts in both schools, he is able to "cook ingredients without the ingredients realizing that they're being cooked (让被切的菜不知道自己被切)". It is truly a terrifying technique that only the most experienced warriors are able to detect.
Special Note: Historical records on him is extremely scarce, making him the most mysterious of the 8 immortals. Some said the Illusion Immortal actually refers to 2 or even more individuals due to the many different information, but this is just a theory...

A nefarious spirit being, known as the "Tormented Soul", had been released into this world by the Evil Lord. This spirit, also known as the "Possessor", is said to be the root of all evil. When he was alive, he was already depraved of humanity, committing all sort of heinous acts imaginable. After he dies, the Evil Lord subdued his spirit and "natured" him...He was infused with the most extreme and negative energies in the dark world, his soul corrupted and his heart rotten to the core...
He now returns to take revenge on the world....
The Tormented Soul will possessed a target body, infesting it, controlling its mind and body. The victim will be ripped of his conscience and have no idea what he is doing. It does not matter how or what the person was like... Once the soul possessed his body, he will live for the sole purpose of causing destruction, and he will turn into a deadly demonic beast...

Legend Of Kay Kingdom VI
LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM VI - Knights Of The Round

The "Joyless Lands", the "Evil Mortuary Road", the "Savage Waters"...
The 3 bloodlines of the of the Kay Kingdom. Each route leads directly into the heart of Kay, into the core of the lands. There, you'll find a bustling, thriving metropolis. A sacred ground on earth...
The Cranberry City - Capital of Kay Kingdom...
Within the capital lies the impregnable acropolis - the "Pentagon Divine Fortress".
Constructed centuries ago by the first emperor of Kay, it is a virtually indestructible palace, a symbol of absolute strength and power. The pinnacle of the righteous realm.
A fortress constructed with the blood of the ancients, fortified with the strongest matter known in the world. The city walls towers into the skies, with gigantic turrets safeguarding every location. Every year, thousands all over the land arrived at the fort to offer their services, and only the best would be recruited.
In there, you'll find the mightiest steels of all.
The best of the Imperial Force.
The Kay Knights.
Made up of people from dozen different backgrounds, occupations, origins - each with their own expertise... Somehow, fate have brought all of them together, together for a common goal...
Originally tribal people, the Kay Knights settled down and integrated themselves quickly into the Imperial Force. The 13 lowest ranking of the Knights would work day and nights, laying the foundation of the Imperial Stables. Training grounds were constructed, equipments were sharpened and the imperial steeds multiplied. Gradually but slowly, the knights consolidate their positions in the Kingdom...
Life were much tougher than back in the village, but at least it was still passable. At least it was still peaceful. At least it was still fun...
...
And then it happened.
On the 4th Year of the 7th Eclipse, 10 new knights (later known as the "10 Crusaders") joined the existing force...
Within the same year, the 3 Grand Pillars of the Knights collapses, 1 after another. The 3 Grand Pillars were the ones who originally maintained law and order in the village days. And now, they have left the Knights Circle 1 by 1 in such a short period.
It was the first time people outside the tribal villages were inducted into the Circle, and many problems soon arises. The old master chefs were unhappy of the new, and the new disregarded the old. It was a period of great internal conflict.
And during such chaotic times, the statues of the 13 men sky-rocketed. They acted as a "bridge" between the old and the new, restoring some order within the Circle.
And thus...The 13 chariots were born.
Unfortunately, even the 13 chariots themselves weren't that united. After a while, some of them started sided with the old, some with the new. Some seek the generals for greater protection, others stay neutral to avoid getting involve in the bloodshed. Some even joined together and form a new faction for themselves.
On the surface, it looks like everything was the same, just like the village days; In reality, everything have changed. The internal strife were great, and this only became worse after the induction of the "6 Dragoons", when the 13 chariots positions went even higher. (More on this in the next chapter...)
Among the 13 Chariots, many would rise to become 1 of the 8 Immortals (八"仙").
3. The Cannon Immortal (大炮仙)
Background: Originally named the "Cannon Fairy", his outstanding performance made him the one of the first 13 chariots to reach the "8 Immortals " statues.
Description: The Ninja master moves with unparalleled speed and agility, able to avoid great dangers despite his appearance. He looks much older than he really is, and loves spreading dark rumors throughout the lands.
Rebirth: 9th Year, 8th Eclipse
Status: 1 of the 13 Chariots. 1 of the original 8 Immortals.

Description: The drunkard is oblivious to everything around him, or at least "seem to be oblivious". His unpredictable movements, great agility and wine illness allows him to avoid dangers and arrows with great ease.

Status: 1 of the original 8 Immortals.

This is the story about a little boy named Zelda...
Zelda used to be a cheerful, optimistic and carefree person, living every day to the fullest. That is, until the Dark Forces arrived to claim him. They claimed his soul and sealed it in the depths of the abyss... never to be released until the fatal bonds are broken...
He was sent through the "Portal to Netherworld", into a land known as the "Stygian".
When he came around, he found himself on the "Island of Terror". He turned into a pessimist. He seeks to find meaning in life but never did. He became a depressed, lonely and very angry person.

3 Years passed...
And on a night shrouded by total darkness, Zelda escaped from the Island.
He sneaked upon a small boat, and make a dash for his life when all the guards were asleep...
He wandered the vast ocean and seas aimlessly for 13 days...
until a huge thunderstorm overturned his vessel...

He was found swept ashore a beach near "Chef Stables", a tiny tribal village located on the outskirts of Kay Kingdom. He was taken in by the people of Chef, together with 12 other individuals, where he began his brand new journey in life...

The "South Pool" village is a place run by powerful chefs. Everyday, the 13 individuals would become "experimentation dishes" for the mighty chefs. They are grilled, fried, steamed and cooked in every possible way...
At that time, the tribal village elder, Chief Kingfisher is constantly traveling back and forth the Capital in order to fund the war. The 7 generals only give tutelage to the commoners about the skills of horse-riding, and could not be bothered with other matters.
As a result, it was a period where the chefs ruled. There was no need for Ninja, no need for Taiji, no need for Illusion. The 13 men became cannon-fodder for anything and everything by default. There was no way they could defend themselves against the chefs...
Among the chefs, 2 were most feared. Their mastery of cookery/chopping were so godlike that they've both attained the title of the "8 Immortals of Kay", also known as the 8 'xian' (八"仙").
The "8 Immortals of Kay" are the most prestigious title awarded to highly skilled pugilists, known as "xian-ners" (thus the name). There is no fixed definition to what is the art of "xian-ning", but it is generally regarded as the level of proficiency in the arts of survival. The more skilled you are in the arts, the higher is your ability to 'xian'.
The 8 Immortals (xian) are the best 'xianners" of all, and their achievements are the envy of every commoners. As young achievers rise and old veterans retire, the ones holding the title of the 8 immortals are different for every era...
These 2 immortals are considered to be the most powerful of their era, and the immortals of the later generations are believed to be at least a class lower than the original immortals.
1. Immortal of Cookery (食仙)
Background: A master chef who spent half his life perfecting the 4 ultimate arts. He is nicknamed "切人不眨眼睛" (Chop without battling his eyelid) for a extremely good reason. Your only chance of survival is to use the art of "Pouring" on him, and pray that he would let you off. He usually keeps to himself, but will leave none alive when he strikes.

LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM IV - 4 Disciplines

Now let's look at the last 2 discipline - The art of Taiji & Illusion.

The Taiji Establishment (太极馆) - Art of Taiji (太极功)
"When one reaches the peak of perfection in Taiji, one becomes untouchable."
A school that originated from the Imperial Defense Academy where students are taught the strongest and toughest defensive techniques. Later on, a brilliant man known as Zhang Sanfeng incorporate his self-created martial arts, known as the Taiji, into this set of defensive techniques. Although known as the Taiji school, it also teaches many other similar defensive arts, providing the ultimate defense and armor out of all.
Using the principals of "yin" and "yang" - the basis of the Taiji is that everything in this world has a natural counter. Good cannot exists with evil, fire cannot exists with water. Thus, the school of Taiji believe there is an opposite of everything in the universe. By using the appropriate counter, a skilled practitioner can "taiji" anything away.
The essence of "Taiji" is to "deflect and redirect".
For example, someone moderately proficiently in Taiji will be able to redirect an arrow that's aiming for him - to an enemy or even to an ally. To do this, he must know the person launching the arrow at him, the strength of the arrow, and the person he is shifting the arrow to. As his skills and experience increases, he'll be able to handle more powerful attacks with greater ease. A true master of Taiji not only can redirect, but even "reflect" the damage directly back to its source (depending on the power of the source).
It is believed that the Taiji originally belong to the same branch of school as the cookery as the results they produced are quite similar. In cookery, you "forcefully summon" another object to block the arrow for you. In Taiji, you simply redirect the arrow to that object. This difference is subtle yet very important.
This difference meant that Taiji can sometimes be performed in secret...thus, the scapegoat may not even realized how he die...Some people believe Taiji to be an evil art as it can be use to backstab your allies, but it all depends on how far you'll go to use it. Nevertheless, it is one of the best way to protect oneself, especially when one is not experienced as a chef.

"The ultimate distortion of the truth."
Generally considered to be the most evil skill out of the 5, it is also one of the most difficult to master. How far you can go in this field depends largely on natural born talent...
The art of illusion is the power to turn the right into wrong and wrong into the right. It's the power to psycho a man to do things he normally wouldn't do. It's the ability to blind people from the truth, even those that are more powerful than the illusionist!
The ability to act is of extreme importance in order for the Illusionist to manipulate the mind of his enemies, or allies. People from entertainment lines such as the actors are extremely suitable for enrolling in this school.
The foundation skill of this school is the art of "pouring". "Pouring" is derived from "pouring drink for someone". In this school, it means "serving a more powerful being", like a waitress serving the the customer. "Pouring" the right person will give you immense benefits...
The variety of techniques in this school are only limited by the illusionist imagination. With illusion, the enemy won't even think about targeting you. You simply eliminate that possibility even before that arrow is fired.
One of the most unique and dangerous technique in this school is the "Self-Damage". Here, the caster actually performs an attack to damage himself. And that means really damage himself until his HP is in critical condition. Hopefully, this will take him out of combat, leaving his allies to do his battles for him. It is truly the most evil, treacherous and despicable skill.
Using this skill however, is extremely risky and may have a variety of effects on different opponents. If successful, the benefits it brings are immeasurable. Otherwise, the illusionist may find himself falling into the depths of hell...

He was able to fool everyone in the kingdom, from the emperor to the generals, from the knights to the peasants. His achievements were consider to be godlike & he wield power like no one did. Unfortunately, he was overly confident and obsessed. He wanted to achieve greater heights like no one else before him... and that brought about his own doom (走火入魔). When he was practicing the 9th Level of Illusion, he was betrayed by another illusionist. Caught unprepared, a great battle broke out and all his illusions were dispelled. Everything he conjured, every lies told, every fakes he created vanished overnight...
In the end, he was captured and banished to the depths of the Great Dungeon (天牢)...

These are the 4 main disciplines of survival - The art of ninja, cookery, taiji and illusion. With these 4 arts, you can classify almost anyone in the Kingdom of Kay. Everyone here possess a certain level of proficiency in each of this 4 traits. Faculty of Ninja (Ninja/Naruto) - It doesn't matter how strong your foe is. If you can't be seen, you can't be targeted. Stealth, evade and escape.
Supreme Kitchen (Cookery/Chopping) - Summon lower-life forms to take the damage for you. As long as you don't run out of ingredients, you HP is basically unlimited.
Taiji Establishment (Taiji/Defense) - Ultimate defensive technique. Re-direct, deflect, reflect any attacks.
Illusionist Cult (Illusion) - Befriend the strong, confuse the weak. Psycho the intelligent and make use of the foolish.

Wait, what about the 5th school?
As of today, records about the 5th schools are scarce and incomplete. The only information confirmed is that the 5th school is known as the "Great Academy (大学府)" and its students are known as the "Strategists". However, there are no details stating what exactly this school is about.
Historians have manage to dig up many old books, manuals and items related to the 4 other schools, such as smoke grenade for the ninja & cooking utensils for the supreme kitchen. The Great Academy is the only one without any related items. Some theories said there's only 4 disciplines right from the start, others speculate the Great Academy might have been removed from the 5 main schools somewhere along the Kay timeline.
Currently, historians believe the academy is actually a mixed school that combines all the unorthodox and orthodox sects ideas. It consists of many diverse ideas, which is probably why there are so little clues. However, new evidence have shown that this school is strongly linked with battle stratagem at the kay frontlines (3 routes).
No further details is known.
But who knows?
Maybe in a few months time we will know what exactly this is all about...

Legend Of Kay Kingdom III
LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM III - ARTS OF SURVIVAL
In this harsh world filled with evil and overrun by dark forces, it is almost mandatory for everyone to possess basic survival skills. Yes, it's the survival of the fittest - and lack of such vital knowledge would be suicidal.
Just like evolution of the human, people start to learn many techniques and skills - known as the "arts of survival". As time goes on, some groups grew to become proficient in certain areas then the rest. The stronger individuals combine various disciplines and climb to the top of the ladder, creating their own ideology and setting up new schools of thoughts.

Their usefulness are tested and proven. And over the ages, they have gained widespread popularity throughout the entire kingdom.
If you want to stay alive in the Kingdom of Kay, you need to be proficient in these arts of survival. At the minimum, you need to be moderately skilled in at least one discipline. If a person can perfect any single of these arts, he will receive limitless benefit for his life.

The supreme kitchen is the service provider to the Royal's family Imperial Kitchen, and the main branch of all cookery schools in the kingdom.
The diploma of cookery is one of the most difficult certification to achieve, and those who goes on to attain a degree in cookery are far and few between. Of the 5 schools of survival, the Supreme Kitchen is considered the most difficult to get into. The enrollment criteria are extremely strict, and is almost impossible for low ranking peasants to be accepted.
The art of cookery is defined as the "art of chopping new vegetables (新菜)" (sometimes simply known as "chopping"). It is the ability to manipulate an animal or beast weaker in status, power and experience to do your bidding. This is the main reason why it is so difficult for the low ranking population to master this skill.
Here, chef-wannabes are first taught how to "cut, chop and fry" the new vegetables. They are exposed to a wide variety of fresh veggies, from large to small, long to short. As those vegetables have no means of self defense, it makes them perfect target for the chefs to "gain experience".
On the advanced levels, the chef will be taught to subdue stronger beasts. Whether it's a bird, a goat, a cow or even a lion, he will skin him alive. The chef will be able to "mince, crush and grill" the beast, devouring it whole...
The chef must know the best method for cooking the "fresh meat". Should he stew or grill? Should he fry or steam the meat? Should he consume the meat to restore his own HP, or use those pitiful animals as shields against arrows? Someone who master the art of cookery will be able to tame any animals to achieve his purpose.
At first glance, the art of cookery may sounds "lame".
However, once mastered, it may arguably be the strongest out of the 5 schools. Who cares about "naruto-ing", when you can just summon a lower life-form to take the damage for you?

The Legend of Kay Kingdom II

LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM II - THE 3 ROUTES
It wasn't long after their arrival at the Imperial Palace...
when they discover their true mission, their ultimate purpose - defending the 3 vital routes into the Kingdom... with their lives.
These 3 routes are the essence and backbone of the Kingdom, and must be defended at all costs. Each of them is tightly secured and defended by the royal army...
Joyless Lands - A magnificent and vast piece of land to the west, filled with dense forests and thick fog. The whole land reeks a foul stench of dead corpses. Countless innocent lives were lost over the century on this land that no one remembers the actual name of this place anymore. It is now only known as the "Joyless Ghost Lands", where the spirits of the dead roam about. The spirits who died from injustice, suffering and forever unable to reincarnate. This place will forever be hell on earth... This land is heavily under attack by the dark forces all year round as it links directly to the capital...
Savage Waters - Named for its harsh and ferocious waves during the tide change, this place is the easiest to defend out of the 3 routes due to it strategic location in the far north. The cold winter meant that the dark force will have trouble maneuvering around, and thus harder to penetrate. It seems the dark army realize this as well, and launch comparatively less attacks here.
However, during certain seasons of the year, a gigantic beast will be unleash upon this cold land. This powerful and deadly creature is known as the "Chilling Serpent". When he emerges from the freezing deep, all will cower in fear. Warriors that let their guard down, even for a moment, will face the worst possible consequence. Death before even realizing what happened.
Records shows that the Chill Serpent migrate to the north during winter, and move south during summer... to the place called...
Evil Mortuary Road - Known as the 黄泉之路 by the locals chinese, this was a well-hidden and concealed road located near the Joyless Lands. Unfortunately, it is uncovered by the dark forces shortly after the war...
Like its name suggest, this place is a total nightmare. During certain nights, you will hear piercing screams and cries that will make your heart bleed. Don't ever step in here. The evil will consume you...
And if you thought that is the all, you're wrong...
Nearly 150 years after the start of the war... scouts report some unusual sightings...
A small group of demon scouts appeared out of nowhere, and in a village next to the capital city of Cranberry.
The report shocked everyone in the royal council? Where did they come from?! Wasn't there only 3 routes leading into the Kingdom?!

Horrific news.
Indeed, there were only 3 routes, 3 Land routes. The dark forces have, over the years, unveiled an alternate path. An alternate way by the sea.
Necromancers Berths - 2 Jetties constructed secretly in the eastern and western side of the Capital City. There, the high ranking necromancers gather and conjure up hundreds of evil spirits and demons... Due to scarce information, little is known about this place...
When will they launch a full scale attack by sea?
Nobody knows. But time is running out...
Can the Kingdom defend itself against the Dark forces? Or will country's internal strife and revolution bring its own doom?
If the knights do not unite as one, they may very well destroy themselves before the great apocalypse...

An Evil Force has escaped...
An evil force, sealed underground in the deep abyss known as the "Dungeon"...
We all thought it was over. But now, the worst thing imaginable has happened.
The great evil finally broke the magical chains devised by the ancient wizards. By the time the guards knew of his escape, it was already too late. He has completely vanished.
But this is not the end. He will recuperate and bid his time. And when he completely regain his powers, the catastrophic destruction he will create will be beyond imagination.
News and panic spread like wildfire...
Within days, heroes from all over the lands have gathered at the God Tower. Their mission - to locate and subdue the Great Evil once more.
This time, they will lock him away - for eternity.
But...
Just where the hell could he be?

A Martial Art Story...
Was walking around when I saw this Chinese martial art novel (武侠小说) on the ground...
I'm a fan of martial art stories, and this novel was quite an interesting read. There's not much storyline to it, but I'll list the characters in the stories...

The Legend of Kay Kingdom I
Today, I'll be retelling one of the greatest tale in the history of human civilization. It speaks of the legendary Kay Kingdom of the Ancient World. Was this legend really true? Is there such a civilization in the ancient past? No historians can prove or disprove it anymore. But will the saga of this mysterious nation be re-created in the modern world?

LEGEND OF KAY KINGDOM I - FELLOWSHIP OF THE KNIGHTS
Eons ago, possibly in the prehistoric days, there stood a majestic and powerful country, known as the "Kingdom of Kay". It's military strength were unmatched across the lands, and the nation enjoyed peace and prosperity for hundred for years.
Then, on a fateful day, the worst thing imaginable happened. The skies tore apart and a devastating earthquake shattered the lands. Demons and evil spirits descended from the skies and rose from the depths of hell, swarming across the Kay Kingdom.
War has come.
There were 3 main land routes leading into the Kay which the Imperial Army must defend. These 3 gateways are the lifeblood of Kay, and should any of them fall, so will the country.
As the war rage on throughout the entire country, there were some areas which were free from the threats. One of them was a tiny village in the outskirts of the country.
The South Pool Village
This village was essentially a stable. It rear horses, which were sometimes use as taxes to the Imperial Court to finance the war.
The villagers lived a simple life. Taking care of the horses, planting trees, playing games, making home-cook meals... life was peaceful, simple and everyone was happy. Every morning, you'll see people sweeping leaves at the pavilion, having breakfast at the local inns, children running about the wheat fields. Life was peaceful and simple, and it was heaven on earth during the war times.
The village chief was Kingfisher, who had 7 loyal protectors, known to the villagers as the "Seven Swords" (七剑) - Vulture, Raven, Cougar, Jaguar, Nighthawk, Koala and the Cannibal sword. The 7 swords assists the village chief in maintaining order in the village...
Under the Imperial orders, the village sometimes send men over to the frontlines to assist in the wars...
Everything was normal, until one day...
Chief Kingfisher received an Imperial Edict, from the Majesty himself. The edict wrote...
"The Imperial Stable is completed, and it is my wish to move the entire village to the Imperial City, where the imperial steeds can be put to better use in the war. All your people will now be known to the world as the Imperial Knights, and the 7 swords - Imperial Generals."
And thus, with promise of greater fame and fortune, Chief Kingfisher led his people to join the Imperial Army officially. From now on, they will be known as...
The Kay Knights.

The villagers lived a simple life. Taking care of the horses, planting trees, playing games, making home-cook meals... life was peaceful, simple and everyone was happy. Every morning, you'll see people sweeping leaves at the pavilion, having breakfast at the local inns, children running about the wheat fields. Life was peaceful and simple, and it was heaven on earth during the war times.
The village chief was Kingfisher, who had 7 loyal protectors, known to the villagers as the "Seven Swords" (七剑) - Vulture, Raven, Cougar, Jaguar, Nighthawk, Koala and the Cannibal sword. The 7 swords assists the village chief in maintaining order in the village...
Under the Imperial orders, the village sometimes send men over to the frontlines to assist in the wars...
Everything was normal, until one day...
Chief Kingfisher received an Imperial Edict, from the Majesty himself. The edict wrote...
"The Imperial Stable is completed, and it is my wish to move the entire village to the Imperial City, where the imperial steeds can be put to better use in the war. All your people will now be known to the world as the Imperial Knights, and the 7 swords - Imperial Generals."
And thus, with promise of greater fame and fortune, Chief Kingfisher led his people to join the Imperial Army officially. From now on, they will be known as...
The Kay Knights.

The ship is sinking...
We used to be aboard the grandest and most luxurious ship of our time. Let's call it the Kikanic.
Life aboard was heavenly. Everyday was filled with joy and happiness... we never expected it to come to an end.
March 207, the Kikanic crashed into the Iceburg. The future looks glum for everyone, but we believed deep in our hearts that if we worked together, we would be able to repair the damages done, to savage the situation and restore it to its former glory...
However...
June 207... Davy Jones III, the most diabolical and nefarious monster in the ocean, summoned the Kraken upon the Kikanic. Again and again, for the months to come, it would wreck havoc on the liner. The bow is crushed, the stern are rip into shreds, the starboard is reduce to debris...
The future is looking glum...and It was at that time that the fate of ship would be decided...
Everything went into a downward spiral after that. The captain, whom all the passengers had pin their hope on, abandoned the wrecked vessel and fled. In he middle of the night, he hopped on to his speedy craft to the faraway lands in search of greater fortunes.
All left are the poor passengers to fend for themselves. We have injuries everywhere. Available treatment are scarce, food is low and everyone is dying. We have tried to take up shields and defend ourselves - But against the supreme power of the Satan, all resistance and will be futile.
Weeks passed, but we never recovered. The ship fate is inevitable - the bottom of the ocean. The ship is still moving forward, but it is also moving downward...
And now, Davy Jones is returning on his Black Pearl, hailing legions of undead zombies to send us to the depths of the sea...
There are 2 choices now for the passengers to make...
1. Abandon the Ship
This is easier to say then it is to do, although a handful has manage to accomplish this great feat. You need to be either very rich to be able to afford a speedboat, or you got a float to keep you from drowning once you jump off.
2. Hang On...
As mentioned, the ship is still moving forward. But it would be months, like 10 more months, before the ship reaches the land. Will we still be alive when the ship finally dock? Or will Kikanic be in the abyss of the ocean?
