Half The Class: "Yes..."
Half The Class: "No..."
Dr Shi: "Oh! COME ON! (It can't be that difficult!)"
-Dr Shi (On Sets)

"You cannot say, A'B + B'A is equal to 1. It's not."
"No boolean theorems is going to support you, OK?"
- Dr Chan (On boolean equation simplification)

(After a long while)
Me: Are you trying to waste my time?

In The Class:
Statistics have shown that this course holds the record for having the highest number of drop-outs (especially in year1)... now I understand why... -_-

Computer Systems

Nothing much to comment, not my main worry at this time. As I am writing this, I am reminded of Ho Chee Meng... My eyes!

Data Strucutres Programming
First lab is over! I think they're testing more on how good your maths is rather than your programming... Wrapping up the final program as of this writing... not my main worry at this time.

Logic Design
Minterms, Maxterms, and the "initially seems extremely complicated but not really" Karnaugh Map. Basically this whole week is learning about the K-Map. It's getting tough, but it's not my worry at this time.

Discrete Maths

Just when I thought I've finally mastered the secret behind the "logical reasoning of Ps and Qs", they have to bring in the sets. I don't have to elaborate much. Just look at the questions...

1) If "x is in A or B but not A and B, then is x in A plus B plus B?"

2) Prove that if "x is in A and not B, and not in (B-C), then x is in A and not B"

I really is buay tahan... -_-'

Foundation Maths
Wah Lau...Probably for the first time in my life, I sit through a lecture without understanding a slightest idea of what the lecturer is talking about.

He just goes on and on and on...

With each lecture, the amount of material I understand decreases rapidly. During the first week, I can catch about 90% of what he said. 2nd week, about 60%. Now, I can barely understand 10%...

So many damn laws, so many formulas, so many distributions, so many variables... this is driving me nuts. I now place the difficulty of this module above Discrete Maths.

Yep. I rather do the "Ps and Qs" then do this module. That is how bad this module is.
