First Day Of School...

Hmm... 2 words for ya. "Very Slack".

Haha... actually never do much. First lesson started at 1130... so I really took my time for this one. Saw Guan Wei and of course my Poly Friends! To think 3 years later, we still have the chance to sit inside the same lecture room together... Sob... sob... (overcome with emotions)

... humph... anyway, it's just a bit of introductory lecture, then lunchtime. Went to collection our Matriculation Card! (YEAH! Cheaper movies from now on! Think got Student Meal also! Wooooo!)

Went to have lunch, then walk around the campus (from North Spline to South Spline until we reach the Arts & Social College... -_-

Went to explore the bookstore, computer store... then it's time for the afternoon lecture. Also very relaxing... basically some introduction and we were showed something interesting known as the "Simpson Paradox".

To keep it simple, it basically tell you that some things are not as simple as it looks. If A1 is better than B1, and A2 is better than B2, (A1 + A2) is not necessary better than (B1 + B2). And people can use this as statistics to lie. Something like that lah. Haha.

And that concludes the day. Of course, this is just the "intro" week so that's why it's so slack. No former lessons yet...

Every monday from now onwards are going to be quite bad for me I think. It's a "Mad Maths Monday", because I have lots and lots of maths classes on monday! Everything is MATHS! I shall name this as the "3M phenomenon" if I develop Monday Blues.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is something "interesting" I saw on Benjya Blog... translated it into English. I shall name it as the "Identification Law of Undergraduate Year". The Law helps you correctly deduce the year of the undergraduate simply from their behaviour.

1) Law of Sleeping

Year 1 - After lights out, goes to bed.
Year 2 - After lights out, doesn't go to bed.
Year 3 - During classes, use the table as his bed.
Year 4 - During classes, still sleeping in his bed.

2) Law of Attending Class

Year 1 - "Why are you late?"
Year 2 - "Why didn't you go to class today?"
Year 3 - "Did you go to class today?"
Year 4 - "Why you go class today?"

3) Law of Exams

Year 1 - "What? We're having a Calculus test next week?"
Year 2 - "What? We're having a Calculus test tomorrow?"
Year 3 - "What? We're having a Calculus test later?"
Year 4 - "What? The test we did just now was Calculus?'
