Time passes so fast when you're enjoying yourself...
This was a day to alleviate stress, to relax and laze around~
Woke up... 11am + liao... quick lunch and it's past noon.
Seeing the ideal weather (Bright sunny day), I decided to head down to the Swimming Complex. Haven't take a dip in such a long time... since the closure for renovation almost a year ago.
Wanted to "jio" SK one... but that "pang seh kia" (fly aeroplane kid) say he going gym. This is the 3rd time I kanna fly kite by him...
But nevermind, I can still enjoy myself. Went for a haircut first before heading down. This was my first trip there since the renovation, and I think it only re-opened in mid October. In fact, some facilities like the cafeteria and jacuzzi pool isn't even completed yet. They added a new gym facility as well. Cool~
Went to the library after that. Been ages since I last visit that place. Spent like an hour plus lazing around there... borrowed a couple of book. Will bring them for OD next time so I won't be bored to death. One of the thriller story sounds really good.
Intended to head home after that, but... since I'm there, I thought I'll look around Causeway Point. Haven't visit here for some time as well. And thank god I did!
I found the sequel to one of my favourite chinese PC game - Martial Kingdoms II! I played the first one way back in my Secondary days and enjoyed it a lot. Even though it was plagued with technical bugs and imbalances, I still love it due to its innovative concept and addictive gameplay. There is no other game on the market I know of that is even remotely similar to this.
I didn't knew the developers were working on a sequel. Today I visited the store and it was just there on the shelves! I brought it almost without any hesitation.

For those interested, it's almost like a Tycoon game. I'm a great fan of chinese martial art novel/stories, and this game is a tycoon game resolving around that.
Basically, you start off as the leader of a Sect. You can use the pre-built and famous Shaolin, Wudang, Beggar Sect or Demon Cult, or create one from scratch. Of course the path to Wulin domination would be much easier if you pick a powerful Sect. From there, you will manage your resources (gold, wood, herbs, iron, etc), build facilities (training grounds, medical halls, cultivation chambers, etc), hone your skills (invent new 'wugong' and 'neigong') and impart them to your disciples.
You can participate in quests like eradicating local rogues to full scale attack on other sects. Ever want to see a huge Beggar Clan VS Wudang war? Or Shaolin Abbot 1v1 against the Demon King. You got it here. You'll cultivate your disciples and train them into 1st class pugilists (and killing machines) and transform your sect into a thriving hub of activity. The eventual goal is "Wulin domination"~ Wahahahaha... once I mastered LV10 of my "Xiang Long 18 Zhang" that is.

Bleh I talked too much haha. I haven't really tried out "II" yet, but I hope it's a huge improvement over the first one. Was almost evening when I reached home~
I should clear some of the work first to get these off my back. (USMS) I don't want them coming back to haunt me when I dismount.
This is such a great day~
