Feel that I'm spending a lot more money nowadays compared to 1 year ago...
Last time, I have to think a long long time to buy anything above $100. (And very rarely do I buy something above that price) Now, not say that I've become a spendthrift or what, but I'm more willing to spend money to buy things I like.
I guess I've come to realized that happiness is more important than money. Haha. As long as I spend within my means and don't go overboard, then it's completely fine to reward myself.
"Money is important, but freedom ranks higher"
Anyway, the above is all just my self-justification for hooting the Creative Extreme Music at the IT Show. Haha. But I never regretted after using it. It's really amazing. To Quote:
"The idea of Creative claiming it could rebuild compressed audio not only back to the original CD quality, but better than that and up to the original recorded quality sounds like the biggest load of PR marketing BS we've ever heard. The thing is, Creative wasn't lying... ... ... ... , sounds absolutely phenomenal".
Totally agree. You have to hear it to believe it. I thought the Audigy 2 I brought was an huge improvement over on-board audio, but X-Fi totally thrash the Audigy 2. Hi-Fi is dead, Long Live X-Fi!
Anyway, I also kope 50 DVD-R (Amazing price) at the show. There's also the Playstation 3 launch at the show (Going for $799), amazing graphics. Then go walk walk around the HD TV section. Geez... Think it'll be another 10 years before I can afford it, haha. Then of course there's the Microsoft, who occupied an entire floor of the exhibition center to promote their Window Vista... Hmm, not interested in it that crap at the moment.
