Finding Motivation...

Recently, I manage to regain a little motivation to do some things instead of rotting away every single day...which is what I've been doing for a long long time...

First, I've finally started on something to program. Been like years since I opened JBuilder. The feeling is so...陌生 already. When I wanted to just type something, I don't even do what to do... and then errors start popping up for even little things like making arrays... Luckily, all of these things started to resurface in my head very quickly as I started to do...Now I think I'm "as good as old".

I've been wanting to do this since I got to my new vocation, but it keeps getting delayed and delayed due to the lack of motivation (and losing touch for so long). I don't know what to start, how to start and it gives me headache just opening that thing.

Anyway, currently working on the prototype. Progress is slow, but I'm still satisfied. I don't want this to turn into something that is stressful. It's just something to let me feel like I'm doing something. Now I try to like spend 2 hours every weekend to do. If I'm feeling good on weekday, I'll just open and add like 5 lines of code, or solve a small bug. Even if I just add one small feature or solve a bug every week I'm more than happy~Looking at the progress I'll probably able to get the prototype done before April.

Second, I've finally find some motivation to exercise. I think it's due to the IPPT test. Haha. (Bad things happen when you fail IPPT Anyway, last thurday, I volunteer to go and run on my own in the camp. Almost 2 months since I last ran in Tekong. Timing, 12 mins 40+ seconds. I failed, but not as bad as I expected. I thought my stamina would go back to the time before I enlisted... luckily it's not that 'jialat yet. I've determined to not fail IPPT... I'll run and do pull up whenever possible.

Third, not really related to motivation... but I feel that I'm "getting better" at my job. I've grown from "worse to bad". Haha. Yeah I was horrible in the past. Now I'm just lousy. I'm getting a lot of advice from the seniors (Thomas especially) and I'll strive to be better.
